N2O SKILLS WORKSHOP
In April 2013, the InGOS project offers a N2O skills workshop at the Technical University of Denmark. We invite 10 master or Ph.D. students from Eastern Europe or developing countries to participate. This workshop might be relevant for you if you are about to start a master or Ph.D. project, where you will measure soil-atmospheric exchange of N2O in the field using manual gas sampling in static gas-flux chambers.

PRELIMINARY PROGRAM
Monday 22 April : Arrival
Tuesday 23 April : Field work – N2O flux measurements in willow plantation
Wednesday 24 April: Introduction to gas chromatography and N2O flux calculations
Thursday 25 April: Work on data from the field work. Departure.

please include expected start and end dates of your N2O project
• A letter of support from your supervisor on the N2O project

It is important that you are in the very beginning of your master thesis or Ph.D. work when the workshop takes place in April 2013 to ensure that you will utilize the new skills within the project period. Based on the applications, the InGOS project will select a maximum of 10 students to participate in the workshop free of charge, thus transport and accommodation costs for these 10 participants are covered.
